Spring Happenings

It is mid May already.  Wow! Time is flying by.

April was a fun time with my sister's Mary and Betsy, and many cousins together in Myrtle Beach.  We have all been sending in our DNA samples to Ancestry.com and that has led us to really go back in time to discover many new facts about our parents, grandparents and great, greats!!!

It all makes me aware of how lucky I am to have such a wonderful family here, and having had all the enormous love from those who have made their transition.  I feel the same way about appreciating my deep current friendships and honor those from the past, or those of friends passed on.  All of this has made me feel so grateful, in the deepest way, for my family and friends.  That appreciation has brought me much deep joy and peace.

I got to spend an evening opening Sacred Space for the Southern Sampler Artist Colony.  We gathered in a beautiful beach house in Folly Beach as a wild thunder and lightening storm provided the back drop. It was a blessed event.

I am now preparing for a talk and flute performance on May 21 at Utopia.  Utopia is a store on Broad Street in downtown Charleston.  Beki Crowell has begun hosting spiritual speakers there.  What a great way to share our journeys!!!

Soon Josselyn and Finn will be arriving for Nana Camp.  My sister Betsy, (I couldn't do it without her) and I will host these little ones for a fun time doing artwork, science experiments, and so much more. I even get to share some of my shamanic ways by talking about the importance of nature, observing natural cycles, and realizing our lives are made up of energy and consciousness.

I want to get back to my music after all that excitement.  And, I am collecting my writings to hopefully get them out into the world.  That should keep me happy and busy during the hot summer days to come.
